It appears the DCHP in the router assigned both the machines that were on the same IP prior to me rebooting the router to get them different IP addresses and that has caused for the MSS to become confused.

Oh, one other thing, when I changed my switches around one of my others machines was on and when I went to look at it there was a windows message that said that that machine was assigned the same IP as another on the network and it could not connect.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to allieviate my problem without assigning a static IP? I think I might have to do the thing where I assign a static IP and make the hosts file that I saw on the form WIKI. I reinstalled my connector software last night and now at least the icon is green and not gray, but I still cant get into the console.

I have still been able to look at all of my files by clicking on my shared folders icon, but not get into the console through the connector icon.
